Send the Light!

The Bible reveals that “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). Yet because of sin the whole world lies in the domain of darkness (Col. 1:13). Sin has alienated us from God, eclipsed our view of His glory and blinded our spiritual sight. Nearly 2,000 years ago the Son left His glory above to pierce the darkness of this world and of the human heart. The Bible states, “the people which sat in darkness saw a great light.” And John declares, “the Light shineth in the darkness.”
